Then on Sunday we were sitting at the table in the morning and Mom suggested we be spontaneous and make a trip to the "river" (Kate's family campground in PA along the Juniata river). So we packed up and headed north. We spent the day with many family and friends. The weather was just fabulous - mid seventies with a slight breeze.

We always have a great time at the "river". There is always something going on. Either a project or cooking or some pastime like horseshoe pitching, fishing, playing cards. And sometimes we just enjoy great company and RELAX!

Sophia, Ask your dad if he ever went home for lunch during high school for some cold pizza with me. That was one of my favorite meals.
