Pappy came to stay with Sophia while mom and dad went to DC.....
We were invited to take a special Holiday tour of the White House. Our Friend Sharon and her friend Tracy came along too......
Here is mom and dad...and a replica of the original White House made from white chocolate....
This is the Red room, yes that is what they call it, it is filled with many original pieces of furniture and artwork... and they actually use the room for formal gatherings...
The ornaments on this tree were from municipalities and states...
This is the Green room....
This is a REAL poinsettia! I have never seen one this large...

Those are very good pics of that building in DC. If I could only remember the name. Oh, well. Sophia is getting so big. Glad everybody had a good Christmas and holiday.
How come most of the White House pics are taken from "behind" the roped off area? Did you have "special" clearance or just know the "big guy"?
